Roamigo — Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Operator: Dovydas Baranauskas (individual), Ireland
Contact: dovydas1996@gmail.com
These terms apply when you use the Roamigo app. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
What Roamigo is
Roamigo is an audio guide for walking. It finds places near you, tells their stories, answers questions, identifies landmarks in photos and plans walking tours. You do not need an account.
Stories and answers are made by AI
- Stories, answers and tour descriptions are written by AI models from public sources such as Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap and web pages, which are shown as sources in the app.
- They can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for safety, medical, legal or travel decisions. If something is wrong, tap "Not right?" or You > Send feedback.
- Opening hours, prices and access to places can change. Check before you go.
Stay safe while walking
- Watch where you are going and follow traffic rules. Do not look at the screen while crossing streets.
- Walking routes come from map data and can include roads without pavements, steps, closed paths or private land. Use your own judgement; do not enter places you are not allowed to.
- Keep the volume low enough to hear traffic. You are responsible for your own safety on a walk.
Using the app
- Use Roamigo for your own personal use.
- Do not misuse it: no automated access, scraping, reverse engineering of our server, attempts to get around daily limits, or use that breaks the law.
- Photos you take and questions you ask must not be unlawful or infringe other people's rights. Photos and recordings are deleted after processing (see the privacy policy).
- We may limit use (daily limits, fair use) to keep the service running for everyone.
Roamigo Pro
Roamigo is free to use. Roamigo Pro adds more (for example unlimited tours, deeper answers, offline downloads and better voices), as described in the app.
- Plans: a monthly or yearly subscription, or a 7-day trip pass. Prices are shown in the app and in the store before you buy, including tax.
- Payment: through Google Play or the App Store, with the account you use there. Their terms of sale apply to the payment.
- Renewal: monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. The trip pass is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in your Google Play or App Store account (Subscriptions), at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: handled by Google Play or Apple under their refund policies. Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Right of withdrawal (EU/UK): Pro starts as soon as you buy it. When you buy, you ask for it to start straight away and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once it has started, where the law allows this.
- Price changes: if a subscription price changes, the store tells you in advance; you can cancel before the new price applies.
- Fair use: Pro has generous limits, not unlimited use, to keep costs fair (for example a daily limit on AI questions). Normal personal use will not reach them.
- Restore: use Restore purchases in the app (You > Roamigo Pro) on a new phone with the same store account.
Content and credits
- Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). Text from Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0). Facts from Wikidata (CC0). Photos from Wikimedia Commons with their author and licence shown. Credits are in the app (You > Credits and licences).
- The app, its design and the Roamigo name belong to the operator. You may share tour links and stories for personal, non-commercial use.
Availability and changes
- We try to keep Roamigo working but cannot promise it always will. Features may change, and some need a connection.
- We may update these terms; the date at the top then changes. Continuing to use Roamigo after a change means you accept it. A change that affects a paid subscription applies from your next renewal.
- You can stop using Roamigo at any time by uninstalling it. Cancel any subscription in your store account first.
Liability
- Roamigo is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses from relying on AI-made content, from walking routes, or from the service being unavailable.
- We do not limit liability where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
